On the last day before the holidays, we will celebrate Pajama Day with a movie day to enjoy Christmas together. Children can come dressed in festive pajamas (green, red, and white). We will also do several fun holiday activities.

Reminder: This will be the last school day before the winter break.

The traditional Christmas stockings are back for the fifth consecutive year! Each child will receive a stocking, and we invite parents to give a card, drawing, or small gift to their child’s classmate. The stockings will be handed out on Friday, December 20, and will be filled with surprises! Please remember that the gift should not be expensive.

The Linares family will host a small birthday celebration in the classroom on December 13 to celebrate Rio.

We are excited to announce that we will be organizing a trip to Lowe Family Farmstead for the kids! We encourage parents to join us and participate in the activities while spending quality time with the children during our visit to the farmstead.

On Monday, September 16, we will celebrate the independence days of Honduras and Mexico with fun games, bingo, dancing, and folklore. Children can come dressed in blue and green. We will paint their faces, play games, and enjoy typical Honduran and Mexican tamales, as well as guacamole. Activities will take place in the morning, and we will play outside from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We have some wonderful news to share—Teacher Lorena is pregnant! To celebrate, we will reveal the baby’s gender on Wednesday, September 11th. We will celebrate Honduran Children’s Day at the daycare on September 10 with educational activities and pizza. If you would like to bring something to share, such as fruit or gifts for the children, you are welcome to do so between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. All children are invited!!
